We provided a service. The services did not stop with us. The wood was sold as a product. The wood was sold the way candy was sold door to door, but instead of neighborhoods the attorney made deals with supermarkets, grocery stores, and hardware stores. As he sold wood by the front entrance, he offered his business card to the employees, and gained legal fees when he represented businesses in court. Later he became a judge. The same companies he sold wood with voted for him when he ran for higher office.  The wood we cut provides services: Truckers drove the wood, distributed the wood, and cashier sold the product. As young kids, we provided more by cutting the cords until the sun went down around seven in the evening. I was so happy. Plus the money was more than I earned selling candy.
