You have been told that you should go to Santa Monica to be a movie star? Do not go to Los Angeles to be a famous film star. Do not go to Las Vegas to be a show girl. Go to UCLA, USC, Santa Monica City College, and check out Los Angeles as you earn an education in college, but don't join the millions of youth with ambitions to become the next famous film star in Los Angeles. I ghost write books for casting directors, I interview film producers, and develop modeling portfolios for fashion models that hope to become famous in Santa Monica, California. More girls are arriving by car from Colorado with no idea of how to drive in Los Angeles traffic. Denver, Fort Collins, and Boulder, more gorgeous models, dancers from Colorado Springs, and filmmakers from the University of Colorado in Boulder are driving west of the Rocky Mountains to become famous in California and Nevada. In a bad economy with modeling shows concerning reality TV, many models arrive to Hollywood and Las Vegas from Colorado. They ask me for photographs, modeling books, online modeling websites - Basically the models want modeling portfolios so they can drive into Santa Monica to become famous. Few understand the traffic in Los Angeles. No one is prepared for the cost of parking a car in Los Angeles. Many end up on the wrong end of a casting couch near Malibu Beach. Millions of people from around the globe end up in Los Angeles to become famous models, actors, and the reality TV shows keep the illusion alive and kicking. I began to interview the models as I did the page layout for their fashion portfolios. Many of the photos were taken by their boyfriends.
