Colorado Cycling Competition - The C3 Challenge

Bring attention to the state as a remarkable tourists destination. Use the city names as labels: Aurora, Grand Junction, and Loveland. Develop a logo with a message concerning the Rocky Mountains. Develop the idea that the city is great for cyclists. The French have the Tour de France, why doesn’t Colorado have the USA’s most famous cycling run from Denver to Cheyenne, Cheyenne to Salt Lake City, Utah to Grand Junction, and back over the Rocky Mountains through the Eisenhower Bridge to Denver, Colorado’s finish line. Break south the next year towards the Grand Canyon by rerouting the cycling path: Denver, Colorado to Santa Fe, New Mexico. West to Sedona, Arizona past the world's best preserved meteorite impact site just minutes from Interstate 40 in Northern Arizona near Winslow. Cyclists will pass the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, Nevada, north to Grand Junction, and into Denver, Colorado for the finish line. I created a circle around three cities starting in Denver, Santa Fe, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City. The distance is 1,987 miles. Driving time would take about 1 day with 8 hours extra added. Without Salt Lake City or Cheyenne, the separation by splitting the path in half through Grand Junction would take 1,789 miles. Nearly 200 miles off the bike cycling challenge. The Tour de France is 2131 miles long. Why are American cyclists spending money in France, when they could be winning in competitions along the Colorado Rocky Mountain ranges?
