Australian Partners from the Philippines
The business men married in Australia. Their company was in Manila. From the Philippines, they flew into Las Vegas, Nevada to set up an Limited Liability Company. Nevada has multiple tax incentives. Americans often take the incentives for granted. My wife and I forget. I know we take the tax advantages for granted when we are doing our accounting using Turbo Tax. The software asks us questions about our business. The Turbo Tax software starts with questions at a Federal level. Together my wife and I go through each step, but by the time we get to the Turbo Tax questions on State Taxes, the software reminds us that we live in Nevada. Nevada has no personal income tax. Nevada's tax structure continues to be the best in the United States, allowing businesses and employees to flourish. There is no corporate income tax in Nevada. No sales tax on food. No inheritance tax. No franchise tax. No estate tax. No gift tax. The visitors from overseas know this, but few in America take advantage of the Nevada Limited Liability Company. These guys were born and raised in Australia. Their shop was in the Philippines. The men weren’t American. They know about the advantages of Nevada, but few citizens in the United States recognize what Americans are blind to.
