ColoradoUSA.co : Service or Product?

At thirteen years old, I sold candy door to door for $3.00 per box to buy denim jeans. My father died. My mother sold her jewelry and shot gun for a TV and microwave oven, but I wore the same grey sweater and tan corduroy pants every day. My friends were embarrassed to be seen with me. They didn’t even want to ride their bikes next to me when we returned home after school at 3:15 pm. The job selling candy came from a quarter arcade on the main street. I guess I was lucky not to have any money for arcade games, because while my friends played the video games Asteroids and Pac Man I roamed around the arcade watching them shoot UFOs out of the sky. The arcade owner was nice. He would take my report card and reward me with 4 tokens for an A grade. 3 tokens for a B. 2 tokens for a C. After the tokens were spent, I wandered around watching other kids play games. Some parents gave their children $5.00 per day just to stay away from the house to play video games at the arcade which they found safe enough.
