Attorney
Don't worry, don't worry. Look at the Astors and the Vanderbilts, all those big society people. They were the worst thieves - and now look at them.
It is just a matter of time.
Meyer Lansky
As I write these words on paper at the Fashion Mall on Las Vegas Boulevard, Oscar Goodman’s wife Carolyn is preparing to take his place as Mayor. Oscar flirts with retiring in Hollywood’s film industry, but the time is ripe for Hollywood to come to Las Vegas with a Nevada studio. The film industry would revitalize Downtown Las Vegas. As Chairman of the Las Vegas Conventional Center and Visitors Authority, Oscar Goodman would bring the city into the digital age. The town would take casino scientists, add incentives for businesses branching out of Silicon Valley, and use the sun’s solar energy to power the websites of the future. Those firms would do well to study Nevada’s tax benefits. The financial structure here makes investing mandatory. Asians, Latin Americans, and Europeans, all enjoy the tax incentives offered in the Entertainment Capital of the World. Our town offers the best accountants, bookkeepers, and lawyers that are envied throughout the country. The National Law Journal awarded Oscar Goodman one of the Best Trial Lawyers in America. He even played himself in Martin Scorsese’s mafia film, Casino. Goodman’s son, Ross, has been nominated one of the best attorneys in the United States of America. Nancy Grace has asked Ross to speak on her HLN show about criminal justice. Bookkeepers, accountants, and lawyers protect a successful business. Where better to protect your assets than Las Vegas?
