To whom do you market your products?

Winter weather brought a chill from the ocean breeze.  California has no snow, but fog with heavy frost will destroy the wine grapes the region is famous for growing in the fields. Award winning Merlot is harvested next to the world’s finest Chardonnay. A lot of people drink in Sonoma County. My friend’s dad was an attorney. With the salary he earned as a lawyer, he bought forest land in the Santa Rosa mountains joining Sonoma County to Napa Valley. His plans were to clear the forest so that he could sell the land to wine growers. In the winter when school was out, I cleared land. Later the lawyer brought in heavy machinery to pull the trees out of the ground. Muscular men with chain saws cut the long downed trees into rings. My new job splitting the rings into smaller dimensions known as cords that were loaded into pickup trucks to be sold at supermarkets as firewood. One of the greatest jobs in the world I have to say. I have traveled the planet as a publisher, computer programmer, and journalist, but the most refreshing job I can remember in all my travels has been waking up to the mountains in Sonoma County. The tree branches surround us. Large leaves, dirt under our feet, we had to get a good foot hold in the mud so that we didn’t slip with an axe blade hanging over our head. The shade from the trees kept the sun off our backs. The muscles across our neck and shoulders grew as strong as the wood we split with large axes lifted over our heads.
