Pay Taxes

The jobs taught me a great deal before I turned 18 years old. Skills with cash registers, commitments to budgets, management of employees. After I moved to San Francisco for college, I learned more about advertising. The city markets itself well to tourists. Plus I began to travel the world with the Executive Assistant to the Ambassador of Australia. He owned the publishing company that published Sunset Magazine in Menlo Park. My classroom friends in college also invited me on road trips to New York City, Mexico, and Southern California. Many students in San Francisco come from Southern California. Close enough for home, but far enough to learn about independence. You can’t turn a corner without running into someone who is talking about traveling to a city in another land. The future chapters in my life would include mentors, friends, and coaches that helped me learn about life.
