1971 to 1972
The FBI assembled 300 pages of files on John Lennon between 1971 and 1972. President Nixon used taxpayer money to deport the lead singer John Lennon. Taxes were spent to silence the Beatle as a critic. If Nixon the Commander running the United States went after singers, imagine how Nixon hoped to smear his enemies the Democrats. Dick Nixon didn’t have to worry about YouTube videos spreading his investigation against the White House via a Google search engine in under an hours time. Bob Woodward’s June 1972 investigation ended August 9, 1974. Bob Woodward’s interviews threatened the journalist’s life for over 109 weeks in Washington. I was raised and went to high school in Santa Rosa, California where Mark Felt retired. Bohemian Grove is down the street, a two week camp held each summer housing the most powerful men in the world. My brother worked at Bohemian Grove with his friends. Town folk discuss conspiracy theories surrounding the sacred owl shrine at Bohemian Grove. For example, Bob Hope was a global sensation. Hope was loved worldwide. The executives at Bohemian Grove denied Bob Hope membership because he talked too much. Networks didn’t matter. Money didn’t matter. Bohemian Grove is built on top classified secrets. Bob Woodward visited often to interview Mark Felt aka Deep Throat for his book, The Secret Man. The entire Sonoma County community is surrounded by CIA and FBI retired officials. The whole town knows where to find Mark Felt, the FBI informant that leaked Richard Nixon’s crimes to Bob Woodward. Woodward’s news began June 1972 and ended the career of Richard Nixon on August 9, 1974.
