National Republican Senatorial Committee

John Ensign was Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Ensign was on John McCain’s short list to become Vice President before Sarah Palin was elected the position. June 17, 2009 Senator Ensign resigned his Republican leadership post. His mistress is his campaign treasurer. Records show his mistress’ salary doubled during the Senator’s affair. Federal investigators question money flowing from her to her son. The records show money being sent from Ensign’s parent, the lover’s 19-year-old son get a job in politics and bank notes clear for over $5000. The Feds trailed the mafia from Chicago to Las Vegas. Kansas City crime families were also caught skimming. The adventure made for good entertainment in the film, Casino, where Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman plays a central role as himself representing the mob enforcer, Tony the Ant Spilotoro. Ensign is Senator of Las Vegas. He should have learned to Al Capone to the present: Federal investigators follow the money trail. Skim with cash, pay with cash, or hire an attorney that will protect you like your friend, Mayor Oscar Goodman. His son has offices on South Fourth Street near the Court House.
