Search for the Scandal : Find the Scandal : Always Washington D.C.

Richard Nixon couldn’t escape Woodward’s Washington Post. John Ensign can’t escape Friday the 13th due to the world wide web. The Nevada Senator’s attack directed at President Bill Clinton is witnessed with the same gusto over guest what? President Clinton’s sex scandal in Washington? Sex scandal? Christian Senator from Nevada? Nixon was the American equivalent to the Soviet’s Stalin, but John Ensign’s betrayal to his party of supporters is the 2012 election equivalent to Nevada’s version of Watergate running out of Carson City. Ralston’s Watergate investigation of John Ensign turned YouTube witness to copies of confessions, bank checks issued as hush money to pay off Ensign victims. The cash trail spoke as loud as love letters placed in envelopes after being written with Senator Tom Coburn, cash payments that went unreported, bribery gifts, lobbyists receiving severance pay, and a length sex affair carried on by an evangelical Christian holding President Clinton up for impeachment hearings. John Ensign’s staff tried to surround the wagon. Political enemies were popping up across the country. Many quit. The resignation of John Ensign’s staff was the equivalent to rats jumping overboard as the ship sank. Rats are brilliant, but not paid enough to go down with the ship because the Captain decided to sail the boat into an iceberg as he slept with a staffer.
