Arnold Schwarzenegger : California Reporting

Arnold Schwarzenegger attacked single mothers in 2001, but the speech didn’t hurt him. He announced running for Governor of California on August 6, 2003 during an episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Schwarzenegger declined to participate in several Governor debates. He was preparing to look into the California Senate race of 2010. Arnold Schwarzenegger could have become President of the United States if he had been born in the United States and not Thal, Australia. I took my brother and cousin to Thal in the early nineties and we actually workout in an Austrian hotel weight room as a joke to say we lifted weights were Arnold was from. The package was part of a tour. We waltzed through Vienna, Salzburg, and road chartered buses to Italy and Germany. The bus stopped in Thal, Austria for the night. Separated, split, public announcements about a potential divorce were replacing the news. Then the comet from space hit the ground again. As I write this sentence, Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted to fathering a child from a sexual affair ten years ago. His wife never knew. His children had no idea. His party of Republicans were caught off guard by the hypocrisy. Arnold Schwarzenegger was a Conservative member of the GOP. He was the California choice as Republican Governor. In 2001, when Arnold Schwarzenegger was considered the job as Governor of California, the actor railed against single-parent families by shouting this speech at a fund raising event, “The parents are the single most important influence on a child, followed by education and the peer group. The number of single parents in the U.S. has quadrupled since the '60s, and there has also been an increase in violence and school shootings. All that stuff has increased largely because of a lack of parenting, and many households only have one biological parent -- so many of them are fatherless. It really creates a big problem.”

Dominique Strauss-Kahn : Chief of the International Monetary Fund

Dominique Strauss-Kahn knew John Ensign’s ethics report exposed his crimes to the people of the globe. Dominique Strauss-Kahn was not only Chief of the International Monetary Fund, he was preparing to be President of France, one of the most powerful countries controlling global trade. John Ensign chaired important committees in Washington DC. John McCain thought of making Ensign Vice President before Sarah Palin. Ensign knew powerful bankers in the financial system. He had connections to monetary giants in Las Vegas casinos. The similarities between Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s sex scandal and the exposure of John Ensign are staggering; The case for these married men is criminal. Fluid samples were taken, the maid couldn’t escape. The victim was literally held a prisoner in the $3000 hotel room. The future President of France was preparing to board a plane to Paris, which police found suspicious, because Dominique Strauss-Kahn left in such a hurry that he forgot the technology used to communication his decisions to the world, Dominique Strauss-Kahn left his cell phone he fled so fast. There is a bias subject to the anger over ignorance, if not stupidity without coming across as too rude, there is bias in the rage of such an act between these politicians controlling trade, financial markets, country budgets, and billions of dollars, not millions but billions of dollars that legistlate the lives of people who turn to them to protect their money. Money used for the economy. Money used to build futures for countries. Money used to improve lives, save lives, and who needs to spend $50,000 on a suit? Suits with jacket and pants, Dominique Strauss-Kahn was spending $50,000 on suits, his hotel room was $30,000 per night, that is $30,000 for a single person, Dominique Strauss-Kahn was the only man in the room when the maid entered. The country of Greece is waiting for money.

Moral Over Mistress : Staff Members Mystery : What To Do?

The mistress hurt moral amongst financial advisers in John Ensign’s inner circle. Based on her position under John Ensign, when she wasn’t lying on her back accepting cash advances and bank checks, Ensign’s administration makes the case clear that his mistress was in the decision making position within the inner circle. She was a leader amongst men proud to be breaking their glass ceiling. Her husband Hampton was in a decision making position as well. Doug Hampton was a top leader climbing John Ensign’s ladder for years. The staff were below the mistress, her cuckold husband, and the pay scale doled out to hide the investigation. To put it on a mild scale, moral in the office must have been low July 9, 2009, when John Ensign admitted to paying hush money in the amount of $96.000. Now forget John’s staff members. Ensign implicated his father and mother by saying his parents issued the $96,000 check. The family freaked out. There was talk in the health club about denial. As in, John Ensign’s father the casino leader had no idea of the issued check. John’s mother, father, banker, all parties pointed to Ensign, he turned to point to his lawyer, an attorney probably familiar with Michael Ensign’s banking practices. The amounts jumped around from $12,000 to double $24,000 to the statement released on the web that listed five numbers together $96,000. If only Bob Woodward had search engines on the Internet when he investigated Nixon, Gerald Ford wouldn’t have been President of the United States, and George McGovern would have probably been elected to run the White House with Sargent Shriver. Shriver’s daughter, Maria is involved in a sex scandal with Meghan McCain’s nude campaign as I write the words with this sentence structure. The United States is swallowing large amounts of Viagra while Americans accuse Las Vegas of being liberal and insensitive to sin.

Donald Trump and John Ensign

Personally I ignored the report coming from inside Las Vegas. It was a dead subject: Ensign’s retirement. Donald Trump spun more attention to himself by calling himself the spokesman for the birthier movement. The birthier movement struck three cords with me: One, and the most important, tourists return to Las Vegas to get married. We are the Wedding Capital of the World. Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe impersonators, and preachers offer quick low cost weddings at wedding chapels along the boulevard, but all married couples return to the Las Vegas Welcome sign near Mandalay Bay. The Birthiers paid money donated by supporters to place a billboard asking for Barack Obama’s birth certificate in the background of photographs taken by newly weds at the Las Vegas Welcome sign. Why not the streets off the boulevard like Flamingo, Sahara, Desert Inn, or Tropicana? Why not off the freeway? Why upset tourists coming to Las Vegas to get married with such unguided anger. The birthier issue was stupid, but why rain the newly weds wedding? Second, traffic. I remember rallies in San Francisco where activists shut down the Golden Gate Bridge. Many of whom were from out of town. The Birthiers joined with Tea Party activists to protest at the busiest intersection of Sunset and Eastern. Traffic madness created congestion. What if a lady was going into labor? What is an ambulance had to get by to save a driver after a car accident? Stop acting like Bolsheviks marching on Red Square with Stalin. Third and last, I might not see my aunt again, because Tea Party activists talked her to driving from Michigan’s upper peninsula to Searchlight. She lost tens of thousands of dollars in oil, gas, repairs after damage caused driving across the country, and all for what? Coyotes at night, desert winds, blowing dust, on a two lane road between Boulder City and Jean, Nevada. The Tea Party talked her into being a birthier and people ridiculed the humor as she drove across country to California wanting to talk about Obama’s birth in Kenya. Searchlight was as much a waste of time as the efforts put into a birthier billboard behind the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. Where is the industry is complaining about a sitting President when the nation is trying to resurrect the economy to create jobs?

The Night Manager

Today is the middle of May 2011. As I write these words you are reading now, the men who influence this chapter are Ambassador Lane of Sunset Magazine, murderer Jim Mitchell assassin to Artie Mitchell enter my mind, then of course, the most popular Nevada politicians, Harry Reid and the disgraced John Ensign. Criminals charges are being brought against John Ensign, his parents, friends, and staff, all at once. Nevada politics is in shambles. In 1991, Republicans prepared Jim Gibbons to run against Democrat Bob Miller as Governor. Senator Ensign was invested into an animal hospital. John Ensign wouldn’t involve himself into politics until three years later. Oscar Goodman was defending the mob. By 1995, he would be playing himself in the most famous gambling movie across the globe, Casino by Martin Scorsese. Harry Reid was jumping from on nomination to Washington after another. Extremely ambitious, these leaders all rose up in the ranks together. The term used might be career politicians. My boss in San Francisco, Jim Mitchell murdered his blood brother Artie with a shotgun blast. I worked at the Mitchell Brothers Theatre at night. Hunter S. Thompson would end up managing the place in 1999 after writing Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Hunter S. Thompson wrote a  full-length nonfiction book about the theatre titled The Night Manager. I went on to publish, Selling Sex in San Francisco by Artie Mitchell and Marilyn Chambers.
