Extramarital affairs in Las Vegas are as common as marriages. We are the wedding capital of the world. Couples arrive by plane to have Elvis marry them under a neon Welcome to Las Vegas banner on the main boulevard. Most couples spend money as they marry. The taxes go back to the state, where the Governor skims them as taxes. Skim? Taxpayers found their tax money going to the Governor’s divorce. First the distraction over the filing. Chaos at home. Then hubby Jim the Governor filed an eviction petition. To add insult to injury, the Governor sought the First Lady’s eviction from Governor’s mansion. Supporters continued to attack him about tax pledges. University professors started asking other colleges out of state if they were hiring. I rented rooms to students and they said university instructors were jumping ship.
